Fish On! Fishonok.com 10-6-24 Took John, Kyle, and Jackson out on Oologah today. We had to be off water a little sooner than usual so I kept things moving. Fish were a little deeper 15 to 25ft. We started catching Hybrid and sandbass right away. Jackson did a good job hooking up and reeling em in. The bite slacked off and we moved around and caught fish on every stop sandbass was a slower bite today but hybrids were taking em down I’ve got a few days open this month and if you want to pound on some 5 to 8lb hybrids with artificials its time to get one booked we could use live bait as well long as I got advanced notice, you’ll just have to call or text me. Water warmed to 73. Thanks Kyle!
Fish On! Book or check availability any time at fishonok.com Oologah 10-5-24 This month is shaping up to be amazing bite on Hybrid striper and Sandbass at Oologah lake, we are using white ribbon tail grub baits. We had a blast the last couple outings. Getting them caught cleaned and headed home. Fishing 10ft and 20ft of water today water temp holding about 72. Lake at normal or a little below. Thanks Scott and Collin today for booking with me. I’ve got a few openings here and there I’m not looking to work myself into the ground but the weather is nice and winds have been favorable most days and theres just nothing like a 6lb hybrid slamming a lure on braided line.
Fish On! 10-3-24 book at fishonok.com or check availability 24/7 We hit Oologah today customers wanted to try hybrid/sanfbass option and they ate us alive caught fish real good about 5 hybrids in 5 casts then more good size sandbass with hybrids mixed in till limited. I’ve been on catfish real good but we opted to check out some crappie fishing. And they were off structure scattered and difficult at least in blue creek area. October was a excellent month on Oologah last year for Sandbass and hybrid and it’s stacking up to be that way again. Let’s go! Water temp is dropped to 72 and hybrids were in 10 foot of water. They’ve been extremely aggressive and curious about the boat even following the boat around. Thanks Nathan! Good to see you again!
Fish On! 9-29-24 book at fishonok.com call or text. Oologah lake today for crappie and catfish. We went around picking a couple crappie from structure all over SE end of lake. Not a ton of them to be had but quality fish were biting and we were having fun. Moved on to where I thought catfish would be and we piled up 20 of those quickly. Medium size bigger than what I found the previous day. Water temp 73 and fishing 25 to 30ft of water for the blues compared to 12 to 20 for crappie. Bait is pretty easy to find its moving daily but the birds give up the locations. Lake dropping slowly we are down to 16” at the land bridge across redbud bay if you launch there I’d say be on the lookout for it. Hybrid and Sandbass are biting excellent we did not target those today. Thanks Gene and Frank for coming back to see me and check out the fall weather! Call me I’m on em.
