Fish on! fishonok.com. Beautiful day at Keystone Lake today. Targeting blue catfish. Water temperature made it up to 49°. I’m certainly having to look around. not every spot I stop is working great but sonar looks great everywhere. Bait was really stacked up today and easy to see on sonar easy to catch as well. I’m getting the blues in areas where there’s not a lot of bait. Where they’re not just gorged but they’re still really full of food. We got 18 of them and 47 to 53 foot of water. Mostly fishing flats above the channels. I had a really great group of anglers today thank you Greg, Maggie, Jerry, and Gene are coming back to see me!

Fish on! Saturday, February 21, Keystone Lake. Water temperature 47°. We headed out in pretty windy conditions today found pretty quickly Fish I had been hitting for the last few weeks have moved along with the Bait. I decided to split off my winter trail and go off a different direction and check some of the many way points that I have all over this lake. Fishing was pretty slow. We managed to average about one good sized blue cat every stop. Maybe two or three in some cases. Overall size was definitely way up compared to the previous trips and then smaller Fish didn’t seem to be biting good nothing was biting very fast. We launched on the south end of the lake and didn’t run all the way up to shallow water most of what I was targeting was 45 to 52 feet of water. I think I cleaned 12 of them. Things seem to be gradually getting slower for me as time passes. I did locate good size Bait and Fish and that’s about all I can say. Spirits were good very happy birthday to my friend Leon. Thanks getting out of the house today!

Fish on! Fishonok.com/book-now February 15, 2026, Keystone Lake for Blue catfish again today. Thanks John for coming back to see me. Beautiful weather today in decent fishing. worth showing up. Water temperature up to 47°. We caught the majority of our fish on the first stop in the morning. Slow but steady I think we only had one double today but whenever that slowed down and I moved we never really got good traction again we did manage to get a couple of more good fish and a few box fish here and there. But it was not as fast as the previous trip. They seemed pretty full of food whenever I cleaned them as well. Slight change maybe. I usually don’t say they slow down when the sun comes up but today that seem to be the case we tried 45 to 53 foot of water and the best location was 50 foot for us. I did have some friends that caught some shallow and 6 feet of water. So they’re scattered out and up. 20 fish today compared to 30 on the previous trip

FISH ON!! Russ, Rick and I made a trip to Gibson today looking for Sandbass and Spoonbill. My first cast I caught a nice Sandbass. That was it for the morning for sandbass. We looked in several places. We decided to go after Spoonbill. That was alot easier. We caught a couple pretty quick. Then we decided we were hungry 🙂. Water temp is up to 45 degs.
