Doing CPR today focusing on hybrid striper at Skiatook lake. It was not a crazy feeding frenzy for me I had to work for them but they would come. Keep fresh baits on and stay after them. Starting to see some groups and pairs of fish. Downlines seemed good as well as free lines. Mostly shallow presentations. 5 to 20ft. We boated a dozen striped fish probably could have got more but choose to spend a lot of time exploring. We boated hybrid at 4 locations. Quite a few real nice ones at that

We had a good afternoon on skiatook today. It was really busy on the water really awesome weather and we picked up a good catfish bite the kept us busy. I was just cruising across the lake and seen some stuff on sonar and we landed on it and it’s big there’s a lot of fish!! We went over to the hybrid hole and got it almost immediately but the fish got away we shifted around with them for a while and then went back to catfish it was much faster. So by my count I cleaned 38 fish. And I feel like we could’ve had a lot more if we hit them harder. We had several of them in the 5 pound range. That’s Skiatook size. I’ll be spending all my time on this lake and I will produce more hotspots as time goes by. I’ve got some days open coming up and people can complain about the hybrid bite but you know it’s only bad until it’s good you’re land on the right spot they gonna eat you alive. Call me and let’s go check out this beautiful lake it’s awesome! Thanks Marcus for bringing your family and friends out today
Skiatook today a couple of picture fish. Customers opted for no pictures. Been here 2 days now Sent customers home with a mess of blue cats. Overall today 2 hybrid, 11 blues, a nice crappie, real nice flathead and channel. Fishing is tough. Hybrids caught in about 14 foot of water. On down lines. Evening bite may be better not completely sure yet.
Fishing in the Rain! We had a good time on Skiatook lake yesterday, I seen a lot of friends out there and had 2 of them on the boat. We got on some action in 2 to 6ft of water. Mostly catfish and bass and broke line on a couple real large fish one of them got in a tree we also landed the largest bass I’ve ever caught on skiatook. Dan was on board with that theory as well. We boated 14 fish and lost a couple big ones due to line failure. Dave’s boat did ok on some hybrid he sent me some photos. I’m afraid ours got away but going back for more today.
