FISH ON! Skiatook lake again. Thanks Brian and Alan for being good repeat customers and good friends. We started out a little later than usual with dismal conditions. a miss on the first stop but found some hybrids on second and third stop in a new area which was cool. By then the midday bite was not good. It turned on again later and we started picking up hybrids at several locations. Nice 7lb fish for the big one. We did 8hybrid and limited on overs again. I think everyone of them came on in 60ft of water or more. Live Shad on downlines and cut bait away from boat got them too. Chumming a lot don’t seem to help, takes a minute for them to come on eventually the bite dies off have to move. Most of the was very timid bites and didn’t fight a whole lot today till they seen the boat. 6 till 10 or 11am is morning bite and about 3 till 6 is evening seems best to me.
Spent the morning on Skiatook lake and we went out to the first stop and sandbass would hit a little but not eat. We got a hybrid on a downline. After giving it some time I was thinking about moving and gave it a few minutes longer and we got a hybrid and then we got another one and the rods just kept going crazy till 4 more in the boat and behold a couple more after that mess was straightened out. We missed 4 hybrid in that same time frame that got off the hook. Totally limited out on 20” fish which is common now. Didn’t see a thing on sonar never knew it was coming. A few catfish here and there but they wasn’t biting as good today we did get a couple good ones and plenty of regular ones. Soon as that weather front moved in everything got real sketchy. Cleaned 26fish. Keeping numbers up the best I can. We have days open still if needed. Just let me know
FISH On! Skiatook Lake again today we pulled up to our first spot and sand bass were biting got a nice hybrid definitely biting a lot better than yesterday. We went on to another spot And picked off a couple of nice hybridge and I moved on down that channel and we started catching a bunch of pretty good size blues for skiatook. Took a little lunch break did some looking around marking fish. Decided to head to deeper water for midday and we put the hurt on some catfish. I think there was some pesky perch down there as well I was really hoping for some nice hybrids to come along it’s a place where they’ve been traveling. So we were in the 20s on our white bass and hybrid striper. Then I clean 45fish. We got our picture fish and happy to get them. It’s not easy. I had some nice blues in the 5 pound club. Also not easy thing to do. Had a few doubles and probably a triple seem like every time one would get loose. 47 or more caught. Missed a lot. Thanks Chris for choosing my service and bringing your family to enjoy the fishing trip.
