Good times today at Skiatook lake. Good friendly fisherman to have aboard always makes for a great time. Nice size hybrid striper and enough to keep things interesting. Fish are schooling up a little better. We got these 40 to 50 ft deep at several locations. Water temp about 74degrees. Thanks Terri, Donna, Mike for using Fish On guide service! Cleaned 16 today half striper half catfish.

Sooner lake today with great repeat customers Rowe and Steve combined the trip and hit the lake. Got to looking for saugeye and would pick a few off here and there found a couple good schools of fish and yielded some keepers. Got some perch as well,, as always. we had a good day boating 39 fish. Lot of catch and release but it’s a ton of fun chasing them down figuring out what works! Got an opening Sunday fishing is going good everywhere. I’m game for whatever.

FISH ON! Thanks long term Fish On customer Dale, Ryan, Lane and Jim Good Folks to have aboard. We waited till rain passed. Nailed it on Neosho river today. Got on them pretty good on my second stop. On the 4th stop landed on a mussel bed and got it on. Boating blue cats like crazy till we decided we had enough and moved on to go clean fish. It would have never slowed down. Sonar was just stacked. 14ft of water. Cleaned 50 even. Threw back a dozen or more smaller ones.

FISH ON! fishonok.com I got to look at some new scenery today at Sooner lake. We were looking for some hybrid this morning which I was able to mark some but they did not want to stay with the boat. They would move away instantly but they did surface in one area so they did hang around awhile I just couldn’t get them to hit anything freeline, artificial or otherwise. We did get some pulldowns from saugeye and perch. I eventually started slow trolling some jigs and we started catching instantly perch and Saugeye. The saugeye would bite initially but loose interest. We had a couple doubles maybe a triple. And a few keepers. It was worthwhile. I’ve new info and ideas. Thanks Barbara, Barb, Jeff, and Mark good repeat customers for Dave, good folks that had some good jokes we are going to do this again some time! Caught fish in 14 to 30ft of water. Cleaned 15 fish and released another 14 to go again another day.

We went after hybrid this morning on skiatook with Terry, QL, Davone. it was slow and difficult they are scattered and don’t come up to the boat good, if one is in range or wants to come around it’ll hit. You can mark them in groups and they scatter from boat immediately. Perch are annoying they move in and are everywhere high and low. Had one hybrid on slow trolling that got loose. Went after catfish after the hybrid bite totally failed did ok on those. Hard to get on a spot that will deliver blue cat consistently as well but we found a couple spots and every fish was moving north. Our back lines would get pulled under boat and we’d miss them the front lines would get pulled down we could see those better and hook up. Cleaned 30 fish exactly. All going about same as last month. You might get lucky on hybrid and get 10 or 15 or you might get 5 or 2. And that’s about what she’ll produce.
