Brice Pope Fishing Trip Reports
FISH ON!!! Larry Hook Line and Sinker and I did trips today on Skiatook for Brice. Larry had the guys I had yesterday and I had Mike Music and friends. We both caught our limits of nice Hybrids plus other types of fish. We were in 20fow catching them on freelines and downlines. Both boats had real good size Hybrids. Brice Pope Fishing Trip Reports

FISH ON!! I did a trip today for Brice on Skiatook with Nick, Leonard and Steve. It was just about identical to yesterday, except the Hybrids seemed to be bigger. We caught all on live Shad and freelines in 15 to 20fow. Water temp is 60 degs. We did have a nice bonus fish of a 5lb smallie.

FISH ON! Larry and I did a two boat trip today for Brice on Skiatook lake. We both had a good day. We caught our limit of nice Hybrids and Larry wasn’t far behind. We caught all on freelines on live Shad. We were in 15 to 20fow. Water temp is 60degs

FISH ON!!! Go Figure. I had the customers ready to catch catfish today. Told them that was about all we had been catching this week on the upper end of Gibson. At the end of three hours we had boated 46 and lost several reel nice Sandbass. We only caught two catfish. Hopefully the Sandbass adjusted to the current and are back for another week or two. None of the females looked like they had spawned. The males sure hadn’t. ( we did cut the trip alittle short to beat the pending storms)

FISH ON!! I did a trip today for Brice on upper end of Fort Gibson with David Dillion and friends. We had a good time. The Sandbass seem to all but disappeared for us. But we are catching a lot of Catfish where the Sandbass should be. We ended the morning with 45 Catfish and 10 nice Sandbass. They are still running ALOT of water.
Theory is, the Catfish are moving in to eat the Sandbass eggs??? The Sandbass we caught still had not spawned.
Catfish and Sandbass were all caught on live Shad. We were in about 12fow.
