I rolled out with some of my favorite customers yesterday to my first stop and we just stayed there till we limited out and released plenty as well. We ended the trip having boated 35 hybrids and 28sandbass and catfish mix. Caught on live bait using downlines and cast lines. lot of them on bottom. Water temps are pushing up towards low 80’s Splashing water seemed to really help catch smaller fish.
FISH ON SKIATOOK! We had a blast with Greg, Jennifer, Nicole, and Josh fishing hybrid stripers on Skiatook yesterday. Which Seemed to yield one trophy striper after another. We were a little slow on first and second stop then hit a massive school of them on the 3rd and 4th try.. We boated 34 hybrids 4 catfish and half dozen sandbass. It was excellent day! Fish On at Skiatook! We started as a storm front rolled out early headed out to the honey hole and didn’t take long to find em and get some drags ripping poles bent plum in the water action. Totally limited on the first stop. decided to stop beating them up and headed over to another gang of them and same deal nonstop action with a BIG 7lb hybrid that gave it hell. Fish On! We had fun on skiatook today they didn’t gang up and attack our offerings but we had plenty of takers. More than one double and a hell of a line tangle so must have been doing something right. Ended the day with 25hybrids and 15 or more sandbass and one true GIANT Walleye!!! Unbelievable 7lb old as the hills vampire fish. It’s going to get mounted. Fishing 40ft of water mostly and getting er done.
Fish On! We had a sure fire day catching fish on worms got about 45 saugeye and 8 perch a couple drum and a lotta fun as planned.
