Fish On! I did an outing for Larry's Hook Line and Sinker yesterday on Oologah took John and Virgil out and I tell ya the experience was in top 5 of the best outings I've ever had on wipers. Limited everyone out and went home. Couldn't have asked for better weather. Water temp was 64.5 and we was fishing 18ft and only moved the boat once. Heck they liked the boat they was schooled up down there just waiting on the next drop. Lots of doubles and triples and we casted a few umbrellas and was getting up to 2 at a time on those so had to slow it down a little. So yeah whatever makes them bite they was reel hungry and playful. We did catch and release for a long time as well boating over 80hybrid.

Fish On Oologah! Man the Hybrids were a bitin today!! I did have to keep chasing them more than usual and the sandbass didn't really bite but who cares when 4 to 6lb hybrids are trying to rip the rod and reel out of your hand. We went on to fish blue cat and they were pretty off we got a few and one of them was a good 10lb fish. We decided to try some crappie and they did not disappoint!!! We hammered 33 of them fast as we could and got on down back to the ramp! Such a Beautiful day and my clients today are experienced and take their roots deep in Oklahoma. Richard your tough as any man I know thanks for bringing John, Steve and Solan and I tell ya right now that Solan is on the road to being a real pro! Caught fish today best in 15 to 25ft of water. The weather was just perfect!

Fish On! From the first cast to the last today, Oologah just another scouting trip. The hybrid and white bass was incredible like every cast the cold water crappie was large and maybe not crazy fast but more than adequate more than plentiful. Likewise I set some catfish lines and those were biting too!! Just one of them days it's like the fish were going to crawl plum out of the lake if they only could! It's just like I left it before i went on vacation. Water temps was 65 if I'm not mistaken and we was fishing 8 to 18ft was best.

Fish On! Back to Keystone today. I was out here Thursday and had some trolling motor issues was able to do the trip after sever delay but the catfish bite was slow as I've ever seen it least in the 5 miles I covered I thought we would litterally zero and Richard brought one tiny fish up bringing in the last rod. . I've spent a couple days swapping returning and repairing trolling motors along with other mechanical issues to the point of total fatigue. I had to cancel and move trips over it but not sure we missed out on much. Today I made some moves to the other side of lake and continued the search . Blues were still hard to come by but managed 6 blues up to 4lbs, 3 channel cat, 1 drum, 1 sandbass and a couple striper. So a improvement at least got a little something figured out. Bait has been pretty easy to find around the edges of the lake in shallow water. Most fish were caught in 5 to 20ft of water. I'm fishing live and cut gizzard Shad last couple trips no arfificials or minnows.

I've been running a little behind on reports been real busy fishing long hours, Big thanks to Beth and David for coming out to check out Oologah lake on their anniversary and for choosing Fish On Guide Service. Striped fish have been biting good mid day and evenings so I started us off on some crappie fishing and everyone got the hang of it quickly we put about 49 of them on ice and moved out to check the hybrids and sandbass and we did better than the previous outing. A couple of the Hybrids managed to overpower and get away but we Landed a couple too, along with a dozen or more sandbass till the rain clouds and wind ran us off the lake. Thanks for choosing Fish On Guide Service
