Fish On! Sooner lake today with Rhonda, Jim, Lynne and Larry, long standing clients of fish on and youth pastors insuring the future of America. Thanks for helping support my fishing efforts and family. The Hybrid bite was not as strong as I had left it Saturday, they were still around. Trending towards deeper water closer to 40ft than 30 still scattered and roving chasing bait schools. It's hard to determine how many are around just by looking at sonar they are mixed in with perch and behave similar. Hybrids today just wouldn't build up around the boat so the darn perch were more than willing to just take over. 16 hybrid, 86 perch, 3 large saugeye up to 22" and a nice 5lb catfish. Lotta good eating fish. Our second stop was best I moved a few times today it was much harder to get anything going by midday. Morning bite was best. Got them cleaned and bagged up and headed to catch some bait which I found in deep clear water they were easily avoiding my boat and net till about 5pm dusk hit then they come up to surface bam got what I needed and headed home. Yep easily a 12hr day. Post going up late. Sooner only works if I'm willing to give it all I've got on days like today. More perch this year than last year I hope they slow down. Seems like things are trending thru the stages quickly. I don't think much is happening on the warm side yet.

Fish On! We had another great outing today on Sooner lake had a calm east wind and very pleasant temps. Rolled out to the first stop and it didn't take long for fish to start building up and swarming around the boat. I counted 60 hybrids and 43 white perch again a couple Saugeye and a couple drum, caught on a long slope at 30ft of depth. Hard to believe but bite seemed even stronger today than yesterday. We murdered 200 baits in about 3 hours and packed a yeti 110 it took a minute to slow things down enough to leave we was rolling like a freight train. Call me 9187246786 or book at fishonok.com anytime. Most of all! Thank you Jim for helping support my business and being just great people to have on the boat today, Got a good day on Sooner got to see what it provides when its on!

Fish On! Yessir got on em good today at Sooner 60 hybrids, 60 plus perch and white bass, along with a couple saugeye fishing a rocky drop off at 30ft one stop was all it took. I didn't note the water temps and I'm using livescope to pick up on signs of fish they are moving and cruising the best bet is get in a path they travel. They're very willing to bite. Honestly I forgot to note the water temperature but it's been anywhere from 55 to 60° depending on location in the lake and time of day. Big thanks to Troy Judy Pat and JT for coming out and making it possible. If you're looking online and trying to schedule something for this month and looks all booked up just call me and we'll see if one of the other guides can cover the trip. It's good enough hate for anyone to miss it. And I have this coming sunday open I also can do Wednesday the 8th if needed. I've also got to confirm my Tuesday the seventh booking. If it opens up I'll let everyone know. To me it looks like Facebook is murdering my photos and I wish that would work like it always has in the past. I can barely keep up with my job much less social media

Fish On Oklahoma! New friend organized trip today for family to big adventure to sooner lake. We caught plenty of wind and waves start to finish along with 60 or more white perch, 15 hybrids, 2 saugeye, one 10lb flat head, several drum, and had a blue cat on big enough that it ended up breaking our line. Wind made the job more difficult than usual but we had fun! I know I was busy enough I skipped lunch and I missed out on a lot of fish photos due to wind, water, and time. Thank you so much for choosing my service. Check us out at fishonok.com. Morning bite was much better for hybrids and they are scattered in 30ft of water chasing bait not much to see on sonar but they would come thru in small groups. Perch bite was overwhelming in some spots but that will pass as the hybrids get more organized. At least perch make a lot more meat than an average crappie. Will see if I get some of the other photos we even had film today for YouTube channel

Fish On! Fish on anytime at fishonok.com. I had some business take me near Oologah today so we dropped in and had a look at things. Upon arrival I noticed most bait was all at 30ft of depth and could be hard to catch early on. At any rate I headed over to a hybrid and sandbass hangout and we used live baits today using splasher and thumper we caught some nice hybrids and catfish in 30ft of water on a windblown point however you could tell they didn't want to hang out near the boat they'd move away pretty quick. I didn't try artificials on them today but that would have been needed to reach out far enough to get them. They was pushing off about 100ft from the boat and thumpers and stuff seem to have little effect on them they been tougher to catch but still around and still biting. I went on to check crappie at 12 to 24ft depth and I think I'm done fishing those for the season they were off the brush i use. Crappie stayed on for me a lot longer this year than previous year. We had a school of catfish come thru and they was fun to catch on light gear 🙂 Where are those blues when you need them 🙂 The bait moved up to the sunny surface of the lake about 1pm that's how its been at keystone as well and massive amounts of flying birds easily give up the locations on bait. I caught some bait and called it a day. Water temp was 54/55degrees. I'll be on sooner lake the next few days.
