Fish On! 6-3-24 We started off with some weather concerns but was able to fish a couple spots before the storms come in. Cleaned fish under shelter had lunch and headed home. We are coming back to try again in a couple days. We were off to a ok start was going to be a grind again about same as yesterday.

Fish On! 6/2/24 Guided a Morning and Afternoon trip both trips produced 2dozen hybrids up to 6lbs and fished about the same. Water temp was 73 and we would pull 2 to 6 hybrids off of each school of fish. Most of the shallow locations like 28ft they would move away from boat pretty quick, not many nuisance fish bites today. We had a good time running around and pounding on them. Fishing live bait on downlines and freelines. Caught about the same amount on each the fish come in pairs and sets and eventuallly slows down: Busy day got home late 🙂 Thanks Mike and Arron for booking with me.

Fish On! 6-1-24 fishonok.com We rolled out to Skiatook earlier than usual today hoping to avoid some of the tournament traffic. Which worked out. Our first stop yielded 20 or more hybrid striper second stop another 7, after that boats were everywhere and fish were scattered we did pick up a couple more by just being persistent and pounding on them. Thanks Michael for organizing the event ya’ll did a great job catching the fish. Water temp was 74 fishing mostly 40 to 44ft of water. After 9am we watched a lot of fish on sonar just look at baits and swim off and that is how it went. We did hook up with a nice one on the last stop and then landed another so wasn’t totally off. Reel nice mess of fish indeed.

Fish on! fishonok.com we had a good outing at Skiatook lake again today! Thanks Rick for calling and making it work on short notice. We rolled out on lake about 11 AM I marked my first group of fish set lines and I mean we didn’t even get a wiggle and all the fish on sonar ran away from the boat quickly which was worrisome .. I started working my way through things systematically and ended up getting our limit with no problem on the second third and fourth stop we caught plenty of hybrids. 38 in fact total. Fishing 38 to 44 foot of water and today’s water temperature was about 75. I’m glad we was able to go nice cloudy day nice and cool not a lot of boat traffic, although it was starting to get busy for the weekend as we were wrapping things up today. Be safe out there Saturday is going to be a lot of boats at Skiatook for sure and probably everywhere else too. We had white bass and catfish as well.

Fish On! 5-29-24 Ft. Gibson. We rolled out with shad flipping like crazy got a few of those and headed upstream, the current was pretty strong but not as bad as it could be we was catching fishing 13ft of water on anchor, I decided to fallback to some places with less current and did ok but still wasn’t what I was looking for. Moved up by request of Leon to check out a spot he liked its 25ft there and the blues got on with it quick and just stayed pretty steady. The bigger fish just didn’t bite much today. We got up to 53 blue cat in the box up to 5lbs but it took some work we even had a few doubles here and there no big picture fish today but we got enough action finally to keep some adrenaline going. Sent home about 4 gallons of meat today. Water temps was 73
