Fish ON! 11-24-24 Sooner Lake. Water temp 57 been some big changes going on over there the past week but I’m keeping track of em. They’re still on that 20/25 ft depth is what theyre liking but I’d say a 1/4 of them are hanging on main lake points and the other’s are chasing bait on open water roaming all over the lake and If I don’t get birds hitting water they are hard to find. We flat out tore em up today! Couldn’t go wrong they were very active and surfacing. About every mid November I get at least a day or two of this. They’re mixed in with thousands of white perch but the big baits are keeping the perch off. Strong winds and overcast sky’s work good. It was a very memorable day we chased them a half mile across the lake and caught them everywhere easy. Just one of those days you realize there is a heck of a lot more hybrid in there than a person gets to thinking. The last two days the wind had been slower midday even tho the forecast says otherwise also the fish are more active mid day. We had hybrids surfacing over a 1/2 mile of water and they stayed that way for a couple hours and we left them biting. So glad my guests didn’t cancel today. We caught them on main lake points but done real good just fishing open water and roaming. I’m setting lines at 20 ft when they are out over deep water. Thanks Josh for supporting my business. Amy, Adler, and Abram had a great time. Whole lotta adrenaline pumping action today. There are lot and I mean a lot more hybird in that lake than we realize most days. December 1,5,8,13 are next available. Ive got the window on the boat and guests stay dry and warm as possible so don’t let the weather stop you. Today was heavy swells and everyone stays dry and out of the wind when traveling. The lake is small and that makes a big difference waves or not you don’t have to ride so far to travel from spot to spot. I’ve made an adjustment on the fillets as well I’m sending them home meal ready so folks don’t have to cut out red meat and bones. I’ll do what I can to improve service, not every day is perfect but this is one of the best years we have had in a decade far as I’m concerned.
Fish On!! 11-22-24 book 24/7 at fishonok.com. Sooner Lake today I had some really great friends on the boat today pro fisherman and another really great angler. The bite was not fast and furious but we had some nice over 20 inch hybrids and and plenty of them real close to that. We managed to push that number up to 34 we also caught a nice large mouth again, along with white bass and perch this is the first outing I seen birds hitting the water
I love those type of fishfinders! Thank you Steve for organizing the event. Thank you Mike, Tommy, David. Good friends good weather and good fishing just can’t go wrong!!! 1, 4, 5, 8 are next available! Let’s get on em! For now just call or text me. Fish On! 11-21-24 sooner lake today, not much has changed Still Fishing 20 foot of water the water temperature dropped about a degree to 57. I’ve noticed the difference the fish aren’t flopping as fast as they were a week or two ago so they’re cooling off. It was not fast ripping action today but at one point we did have on 4 at one time. Maybe a couple of doubles. We got the customer limit “40” and a 8 pound bass boot along with a couple of sand bass. I think we had one or two white perch. Sure is nice in the middle of the day on the water.
