FISH ON!! I’m on lake Ouachita with a couple friends for a few days. Yesterday was a bust but this morning we did good. No big ones, all around 10lbs. We ended up with 8 for the morning.
FISH ON!! Rodney did a trip for Brice today over on Gibson and did reel good. Caught a bunch of Sandbass then went and caught Spoonbill.
FISH ON!! 4-2-2025. I did a trip today for Brice over on upper end of Gibson with Kelly and family. We had a good day. We started out Sandbass fishing caught 51 of those then went after Spoonbill. We only caught one of those then called it quits. We caught the Sandbass in 10fow on live Shad, we caught the Spoonbill in 12fow trolling divers. Water temp came back up to 55degs.

3-31-2025 FISH ON!!! As Brice said,Larry and I are trying to cover his up coming trips. I started Fish On in about 2004, mainly on weekends. 2010 I went full time til Brice bought my business in about 2022. Larry and I will do all we can to put u on fish. Larry still guides full time and I mainly just cover the overflow during the spring.
Today my brother in law and I went to Gibson and did reel Lee good. Mike Kelly called us over and it was non stop. Bob was catching two at a time on jigs. I was using Shad. Water started running and fished moved out to the banks and it started all over with catching every cast. Water temp has dropped a couple degs to 52deg. We caught some reel nice Hybrids also. Caught all on jigs and live shad cast away from boat. Left them biting at 73

Fish On! 3-18-25 We decided to try Grand River today out of Mazie Landing. Trying to hide from the wind which worked to some extent. Sandbass wasn’t biting very fast I never managed to get them to swarm the boat they would move through and catch a few and then bite die off but I got a feeling there around and will get better we may have hit on a off day or time of day or location who knows. I’ve had worse trips. I got them at 3 locations they was generating so it pushed them up along the banks. Water temperature was 48° in the running water, and Bait was easy to catch around the marina. We were fishing live bait and we got them on downlines and we got them dragging across bottom slow presentation. 18 fish today produced a gallon of fillets. Thanks Steve for repeat business and giving it a shot today in the wind!
