FISH ON!! I did a trip today to Sooner lake for Fish On Guide service(Brice Pope)We had a ok or pretty good day depending on how u look at it. First fish was a reel nice 30lb Blue. Went downhill after that. We ended the day with some nice Hybrids up to 6lbs, a Saugeye and a bunch of wp. Water temp is 47 on both sides.

Fish On! Back to Sooner today it fished about the same as the last one just a lot more perch and they wasn't messing around today on the bite. 95 perch, 10 catfish, 5 saugeye, 8 stripes, combined several over 20" had to leave those biting. We fished 30ft to 50ft today, water temp 47. Using cut perch and live shad. Big blue was 25lbs. There's been some whoppers come in daily for a week or longer now good numbers of them as well. Fish On! It was a one stop shop at sooner today rolled out where I've been catching fish. Turns out the saugeye wanted to play and the catfish were real hungry too. I think we only caught eight perch today and six nice size hybrid. Our big blue was 36 pounds today and we had a bunch over 30 inches which I carefully released what we didn't need or want. Just happy to catch some big fish and we boated 20 those all three cat species good size catfish! Fishing 42 foot of water today. Cut perch, live shad. Lotta fun! Fish On! Headed out on the main lake at sooner this morning and got on some really big blowups it's been like that on cloudy days just about every fish in the lake is down there be a good time to get some of them perch out. We were fishing for hybrid as usual although I'm not scowering on them. Fishing live bait they either come up to the boat or they don't. Free lines is what got them again so they sure don't want to come near the boat . They're running about 20 to 25 feet over open water constantly moving. I've been targeting some blue cat as well just to make sure we get some some big photo fish even on tough days. We had a variety of hybrid, white perch, blues and channel. I couldn't hardly catch a catfish shorter than 30 inches today we ended up with a 24 pound and a 28 pound along with a whole lot of 12 to 16 pound blues. Nice little set of hybrids they would hit the same free line indicating they're still tough bite like it has been the last few days All the hybrid were caught on the starboard line in the rear of the boat .We had a real good time real fun.
