Fish On! Had Dave R. And family out again for same action as last year here at the low water Ft. Gibson. They had just started a little generation when I arrived we snatched a few fish before the current became overwhelming, I adjusted locations a couple times till I got what I wanted. Got the fish baited in and swarming. Very large white bass today. Big fish was a whopping 4lbs. Most still had eggs. Water temp running 62, fishing 12ft of water. Bite was in full swing by noon, we called it shortly after boating 112 white bass and 4 blues. Wasn't really targeting blues today but they hit our downlines. They had video and family pics going so I didn't have to do much with camera today.

Fish On! Fort Gibson again today all the way up low water area. Guided a full day father son combo trip today. We settled down on what I think was the fastest white bass bite I've ever seen. We didn't even have to lower the Bait could just hang it over the side of the boat on the surface and they would smoke it top water right there within an arm's reach. We boxed over 111 whites in a couple of hours. In that area I was fishing water 61° water. And naturally since I needed them the blue cat we're not there today. I went on down the river and settled in 31 foot of water fishing 64° stained water and we got to ripping on some catfish pretty quick. We boxed a limit those got everything cleaned up and headed home. Big Fish today was 14 pounds we had another one about the same size got up under the boat and shook loose. Bait was fairly difficult to catch but got er done same as usual. Water in that river is clean and clear even in Mazie Landing bay. Thanks everybody for supporting my business it's how I make a living Fish On anytime at fishon ok.com. My phone doesn't work very good down on that river but I'll call you back or message you.

Fish On! Ft. Gibson. Managed to find guests for today after a short notice cancellation. Thanks for everyone's support. Special thanks for James today for being a repeat customer. We hit it up the river out of Mazie same as usual. Got the fish on the first stop same as the day before never moved. Fishing 8ft of water, gravel beds. Water temp dropped from 65ish to 61ish over night which I thought was pretty dramatic. Still not a lot of sign of running water. Lake levels seem pretty normal water is very clean. The bite was a little slower and for sure the whites were not interested in chasing baits across bottom, but they would take downlines. A cane pole would have worked fine shallow as we were fishing. Live shad same as usual. Last couple days the bite has been best midday but it was consistent in morning. The fish are still loving the boat they swarm up pretty quick if you get on them. It's been mostly smaller male fish about a week now but I know the hogs are somewhere around just haven't hit on them lately. We boxed 93 and threw a bunch back. Canned a dozen blues and big fish was a whopping 14lbs it took the line for a ride 🙂 call or text anytime to book a trip or go to fishonok.com booking page.. This will wrap up in another week or so and I'll be starting the trips I have scheduled on Skiatook. I'm showing booked next week however Even if the day shows booked that you need, contact me because Dave is running second boat and has lot of open days!!!

we launched out of Mazie Landing marina yesterday headed up the river made one stop shop I don't even think the first bait hit the ground before Rod Bent over and it just stayed that way. We played it conservative today on our take with a modest box of 50 fish. We fished a couple of hours and then storm clouds come ran us off. I ran one rod most of the time for catfish we had plenty of those. And of course the white bass is just nonstop. Water temp is 65 fishing 6ft of water on gravel bed.

Fish On! 4-15-24 Client today wanted to try for some striper on Keystone, I headed up lake on plane looking for some sonar chatter and found it. We got one on a downline 🙂 I scanned that entire leg of the lake, noted that about 80percent of the bait that was there a month ago had moved on up and most of the striper were out as well just a few left hanging around in staging areas. Noted a few very scattered paddlefish. We were not targeting catfish but there were a few of those around as well. Fish would hang around the boat a little but most wanted to push away from boat. We went on to do some casting, cut bait, and trolling umbrellas produced another striper as well, we also caught a white bass and 5 or 6 catfish up to 12lbs. Fishing was pretty slow we called it and headed in for lunch.
