Fish On!! My weekend groups CANCELED so this weekend is OPEN feel free to call me or book online.. Hope everybody's enjoying the summer while it lasts. This week on Oologah has just been impressive. We're having fun catching sandbass Crappie and blue catfish. These blues are king producers right now. I finally got some crew that wanted to kind of focus on catfish and we really tore them up big Rod Slamming blues up to 12lbs running shallow. We also needed some Crappie to send home the small fish are biting really good today it was hard to get anything past them to get the bigger fish so I just canned them get what the lake gives you and be happy it's not a zero.. We had a solid quart out of 22 crappie. I'd say 5 to 13 feet is best for Crappie and 3 to 10 feet on the blues. However blues also hanging with Bait schools at 30 feet. Got 35 blues and we got out of there about noon or 1pm. It's easy to stay too long when fishing is this good!
Chance his dad and cousin come back from the 405 to see me today we loaded up and hit the lake pretty early and we had a fish beat down till we got what we wanted out of it. It gave me a chance to locate some more large crappie and that worked out pretty good then we loaded a few magnum crappie as well 9 to 13ft was best. Thought we would get a few blues but found a billowing wave of sandbass instead I had to adjust the boat a couple times they kept pushing around finally got out to the side of them about 60ft and they just sat there and let us eat em up. Pretty decent size about 18ft of water. I had cut some bait and stuff so we went on to set some lines for blues and caught some decent fish in 25ft of water. 4 to 14 lbs today. Yep good day. Y'all book a trip! not many times of the year can just load up on 3 species of fish like grocery shopping. Ive got openings this coming week. . It's nice in the mornings we don't have to stay till we are fried 
Love me some oologah they got a good restaurant and indoor restrooms and stuff over here . Hate to say it but this hot dry blueprint stable weather is perfect for fishing.

I geared up for sandbass, crappie and catfish and we ended up trying them all and doing fair on them all. Water temps was about 82 and we was fishing slabs 18ft for sandbass, minnows 6 to 9ft for crappie and cut shad 25 to 30ft for blue cats. . We ended the trip with 35 sandbass, 22 crappie and 14 blue cat up to 6 lbs.. all of them varied in size from small to real nice we pitched back a ton of them too. It was a fun and satisfying day! New boat is awesome easily holding tackel and poles for all 3 species and 7 anglers today and myself

For birthday trip turning the big 14 I pulled up into a school of sandbass that just couldn't be denied considering there was thousands In fact one of the biggest schools I ever seen. They bit pretty good and just stayed there around the boat. After that we moved on to the Crappie which we were there to get. A couple of brush piles delivered a big hit getting what we needed we had to move a lot.. I cleaned about 65 fish by my count nothing big just some summertime fish and we released quite a few small ones just some good summertime action.
Fish On at Keystone today. Had Jeremy and his family out today to look for blue catfish got a nice early start but didn't see any out in the main lake like I was hoping. Finally found a few and caught a few but was going pretty slow mostly pushed up along the banks in 15ft or less. We decided to try sandbass and I put us right on them and just couldn't hardly make them bite. They sat up real nice on sonar about 20 to 30ft away from boat but tried everything I know and would get a a few bites and caught one. Seen a fella trolling catch 2 at random locations. Decided to try the blues again on that area and up in the creek where we launched and nope marked plenty of fish but personally I couldn't get any traction today. Invited my crew to do a makup trip later on and left it at that. First trip this year I wasn't satisfied with. Got 6 or 8 keepers I done forgot.
