Fish On! Fishonok.com Back to upper Ft. Gibson today, water had dropped a little and no trash floating no current again similar to weekend. Water temp running 63/65 degrees. We wanted some spoonbill today and I headed over to a quite place with no traffic the numbers had really picked up at that spot we got that done pretty quick in 20ft of water then moved on to some white bass fishing, the first stop took awhile to get them going. Without the flow we are just fishing middle of the channel and I'm using livescope to locate them. Both stops were 14ft of water fishing live shad on downlines. I also set 3 catfish lines and we got those on every stop as well. The bite was good and fast but the fish were smaller. We boxed about 30 of them and went in search for bigger fish but all the stops yielded male white bass. Out of the 70 or more we boated only a couple female fish today. We had fun whacking them. 16th, 17th, 23rd, and 24th are still open. Time to play hookey and go fishing while its still on 🙂 The spoonbill fishing is real good now. I stay rigged for all 3 species at the moment. Long term fish on clients today, Big thanks to Danna and Dale for supporting my service! No hero photos today on the fish count we released the majority of them. I cleaned 36 whites, 12 blues and released the spoonbill to complete its spawn.
