Sooner Lake Oklahoma - Sep 26, 08

Pretty slow. We did catch some fish but not a whole lot. I think we ended up with somewhere between 10 to 15. They were all on the small side. The biggest was about 3lbs. We could of doubled that if they woiuld of all stayed on. We had several on that just came off. You would get them about half way to the boat and then they would come off. There was almost most no wind. But, when the wind would blow we would catch fish. All the fish we caught were in 25 to 35ft of water on downlines and the water temp. is still 76deg.

Sooner Lake Oklahoma - Sep 20, 08

It was a pretty slow day. We did mange a few fish but they were not very willing. We started out on Sooner lake and had 5 fish on at once and got four in the boat. That was the last bite we got on Sooner. We marked plenty of fish and bait just no takers. Since we were riding together we decided to go to Skiatook to finish out the day. It was not much better but we did catch a few there also. The big fish of the day was a 4lber. At both lakes the  fish were in 32ft of water and all were caught on downlines. It was a beautiful day to be on the water and relaxing with some friends.

Skiatook Lake Oklahoma - Sep 19, 08

Went fishing with a friend after work and caught 7 or 8 nice Hybrids. All but one was in the 4 to 5 lb range. I think they were all females because they all had a lot of attitude. We marked a lot of fish and bait, just not many takers. We caught the fish in 30 to 35 ft of water all on downlines. The water temp. is 77 deg.

Skiatook Lake Oklahoma - Sep 15, 08

Slow day. It was a beautiful day to be on the water with some very good repeat customers.  Its just that the fish were taking the day off also. We ended up with about 10 with the biggest being a 4lb Hybrid. We tried several places and marked lots of fish. The ones we did catch were in 32ft of water all on downlines. The water temp is 76deg. It seemd about every excuse for not to catch were in place. We had a full moon, north wind and a bright clear day after a small cold front. And the cows were laying down.

Sooner Lake Oklahoma - Sep 11, 08

Slow, wet , afternoon. Went fishing with a friend for a few hours and caught a few fish but they were all on the small side.  The ones we caught were in about 30 ft of water on downlines. The water temp is 77deg. We tried several different areas and saw plenty of fish but not many takers. The fish on the locator seemed to be very active(lots of lines, not arches) but for some reason were not eating. It was still better than being at work!!!

Skiatook Lake Oklahoma - Sep 06, 08

FISH ON!!!  What a great afternoon. I needed to go fish Skiatook for a couple of trips coming up so my Brother-in-law and I went for a few hours.  Started fishing about 3 and when we quit at 6 we had caught around 25 fish, with 15 of them being nice Hybrids. The biggest was a 9lber. We had some more in the 4 to5 lb range. It was a nice cool day with cloud cover. We did mange a few  on top, when the top water action came around us. But most were caught on downlines in 25 to 31ft of water. The lake temp is 77 deg.

Sooner Lake Oklahoma - Sep 01, 08

Very slow day. Only fished for about three hours and only caught a few. Not sure what was going on. Marked lots of active fish and lots of bait. Tried a little bit of everything to get them to bite and nothing seemed to work. It really thru me off as to why they weren't biting because the cows were standing. Water temp was 82deg and all were caught on downlines.
