Fishing Reports
May
FISH ON!!!! Another really good trip. It started out kinda slow, but then it really picked up. We had several
times when we had doubles and a couple of triples. We caught our limit fairly quick so I kinda lost count as to how many we caught. We only fished about 4 fours because some storms came in and blew us off of the water. But, by the time we quit we had caught somewhere around 25 to 30 fish with most of them 3 to 4lb Hybrids. We caught a few sandbass but not very many. We caught them on downlines and freelines in 10 to 15ft of water. The water temp is now 75deg.

FISH ON!!! What a great afternoon. Went fishing with some young men who had been booked since last O
ctober. It tunrned out to be a really good afternoon. Stopped on some active feeders right away and the action continued the rest of the afternoon. I lost count of how many we caught but it was somewhere between 20 to 25 Hybrids in the 3 hours we were out. They were hitting freelines and downlines in 15 to 20ft of water. It was great to be with some guys who had been fishing together for about 40 years and still enjoying each others company and having a good time.

FISH ON!!! I needed some fish for a fish fry so myself and a couple of friends decided to go. We were
glad we did. We found the fish in 15 to 20ft of water and they were active. We had more on than we caught , they were coming off on the way to the boat. Most were in the 3 to 4 lb range. for the three hours we fished, we ended up with 21 fish and16 of them being Hybrids and the rest Sandbass. The water temp. is 74deg. They were caught on downlines and freelines.
FISH ON!!!
Fish on!!!. Finally a good day. It started out pretty slow but really picked up at the end of the day.We had some motor trouble but once we were able to keep on fishing we finally
found some active feeders. We caught about 30 fish with most of them being 3 to 4lb Hybrids. Most were caught on downlines and a few on freelines. The water is still murky and the temp. is 70 deg.
FISH ON!!!
Mixed bag of fish. We ended up with 13 fish, and had a good mixed bag of different kinds of fish. We had Hybrids
, catfish, smallmouth, and sandbass. The biggest fish were some 3 to 4lb Hybrids. It was a great morning to be out with a family that really enjoyed being out. We had a real hard time finding the Hybrids, but we did find some decent ones right before quitting time. We caught them on freelines and downlines. We did miss some and a few came off but not many. The water temp. is still 68deg and the water is murky.
Slow morning. Took my daughter and friends out for a few hours before her graduation party. It wasn't much of
a party as far as the fishing went but we all still had a good time. We didn't get started till about 10am and then we quit about 1pm. We did manage a few but not very many. The ones we caught were on downlines in 20ft of water. The water temp. is 68 deg. and still murky.
Slow afternoon . Spent 4 hours on the water and caught very few fish. I had three 10year olds a dad and grandpaw. It was suppose to be for just three hours but I kept looking for some fish. We did catch a few just not very many. We had a couple that were on the way to the boat and just came off. We had one break off. Plus we may of lost a couple while we were deciding who turn it was : -). Overall it was a beautiful afternoon to enjoy some young men. The water temp. is 68deg. and still murky.
Could of been better. We managed some fish but not very many. We ended up with about 15 Hybrids and
Sandbass. The biggest Hybrid was about 3lbs. The wind was blowing again about 25 to 30mph which made it very difficult to fish. We ended up when we anchored using two anchors to hold. We did find a spot where we could troll and caught some on palnnerbaoeds. Almost all were caught on plannerboards with a few on downlines. We were in 20 to 25ft of water and temp. is 62deg. The water is still murky.
FISH ON!! A pretty good day. We had great weather and the fish were biting. Again we were missing several or
we would have them up to the boat and they would just come off. We ended up with some fairly nice Hybrids and a few Sandbass. We caught some in the mid afternoon on planner boards and then we changed locations and started fishing downlines and caught them on the downlines. Not sure where the bigger fish have gone. The biggest was about 4 1/2 lbs. The water is still murky and rising some and is 62deg.
FISH ON!!!
Not bad, the fishing was a a little slow but they seemed to be getting active. We missed way more than we
caught. They would be on for a while and then just come off. They would hit the bait real hard and then nothing. Most came on planner boards with no weights and a few on down lines. We were in 15 to 60ft of water and it has muddy up some again. The water temp is now 62deg. It was a pleasure to be out with some repeat customers who just enjoy being outdoors and being with friends.
It was another slow day. The wind was gusting to about 30mph and that kept us from fishing some areas we
needed to fish. And it keeps you from moving around on the lake much when there are 3 ft swells. However, we did mange to catch a few. We caught them on downlines and freelines. Some were caught in 40ft and some in 25ft. The water temp has dropped back to 57 to 58deg. It ended up being a nice day and pleasure being out with a family who enjoyed being out and fishing together.
