Skiatook Lake Oklahoma

It was a beautiful day to be on the water with the Robert Winter family, but would of been even better if we had caught any fish. We did not catch a fish except for one small Crappie, and I didn't know it was on. I tried cut bait, live bait, and hooking the bait differently, with no response from the fishies. I only marked one group of fish all afternoon and they did not stick around very long. We did get a few bites and that was the closest we came. Ely had been practicing the words "Fish On" but he only got to say them for the pic:(  There has been some spottie reports of fish being caught, so I felt like we had a good chance of catching something. I can't remember the last time I got completly skunked on Skiatook. Hopefully the Winter family will give me another chance sometime next spring. Water temp. is 82degs.
