FISH ON!!!!!!  Went fishing with good friend Steve Carroll(Weekendduty) and we had a blast. It took a few stops to find the fish but when we did it was constant till we ran out of bait. We ended the day with somewhere between 40 to 50 in the boat. We only kept the gut hooked ones for a fish fry so we cleaned 23. I tried the circle hooks and that did seem to help for the fish not coming off as much. I did have some come off but not as many. I only had one gut hooked. Steve was using regular hooks and was gut hooking several. With the circle hooks you just have to remember not to set the hook, just pull back, All fish were caught on downlines in 40 to 50 ft of water. They were all 2 to 4lbs and very healthy.(lots of attitude) WATER TEMP. IS 60 degs.
