Sooner and Skiatook Lakes Oklahoma

VERY Very tough day. I think it was the worst fishing day I have had all year. I took a couple of friends fishing and that is about all we did was fish. We only caught one fish between going to the two lakes. We went to Sooner first, thinking we had a better chance there with catching and less boat traffic. The boat traffic part was right but not the catching. We did catch our only fish of the day there. We had a couple others on that came off on the way to the boat. So, after about 3 hours we loaded up and went to Skiatook.  About the same thing there. We had a couple on but they came off on the way to the boat. Water temp. was 81 on both lakes. But, it was a nice day to be out on the water with a couple of friends.
