Slow fishing this year. I had a couple of guide trips on Ouachita and then I stayed there on VC. The fishing was slow for the whole week. We only caught a total of 16 fish for the week. The biggest was 18lbs. It did seem the overall size was a little bigger. The water temp. was 60deg when we got there and went down to 55deg during the week and then when we left it was back up to 60deg. We did manage to dodge a couple of tornados. The weather pattern was very unstable and kept the wind blowing hard most of the week which made the fishing tough. Most of the fish were caught on freelines.
