Fished with my brother-in-law this afternoon for 4 hours and did ok. We missed more fish than we caught forDSCN0344.JPG some reason. They were biting more like sandbass than Hybrids. Most came off on the way to the boat. I am not sure why that was happening. We caught a total of 9 pretty nice fish. All but one small one was in the 3 to 4lb range with one 5lber. The water is getting good. It was 56deg. We caught most of the fish on downlines in 30 to 35 ft of water on live bait.
