Skiatook

Started late and finished early. My Dad and son were both in town for the weekend so we decided to try cat
ching a few Hybrids. We didn't get started till about 10:30 and quit about 14:30. We did manage to catch a few. Not alot and not any big ones. We caught seven and the biggest was about 3lbs. That was enough for a fish fry so we quit. The pattern has changed some. They seemed to want the bait more on the planner boards and free lines than downlines. We did catch a couple on downlines, but most were caught on planner boards with no weight on the line. They were really schooled up. We would have two or three on and get one in. Then they would be gone. They were also in deeper water than before. Mostly in 40 to 50 ft and suspended at about 20 ft. Water temp. was 61 deg. Overall it was a very pleasant day to be fishing and catching.
