Fish On! Big thanks to Tom and Rick for organizing a outing on sooner lake today. We started off looking for some hybrid Striper and we managed to produce a few of them early 8 to be exact but it just got tougher. They were caught in 23 to 25 foot of water, I noticed the water temperature is up a degree at 47.5 we finally got tired of Slack lines and headed over to the other side of the lake to set some catfish lines and went to work on some perch and even those didn't want to bite real great. We managed to drum up 60 anyway, along with some real nice catfish weighing in at 28 pounds and 23 pounds and several 10 to 15 pounds. And those come out of about 60 foot of water fishing on a slope. We had one get wound up in some trees and rocks will never know on it. We were fishing with live shad and cut perch. The 26, 27th, and 28th next week is available and I'll keep hosting trips as long as I keep getting calls. I'm also good to go for Keystone on blue catfish. Thanks everyone that supports my service! Merry Christmas

Fish On! Thanks Mike, Jeff and Charlie for choosing Fish On Guide Service and checking out sooner lake. I guded a combo trip today we went after hybrid first and it was may be a little slower but pretty good I couldn't really tell for sure we ended up boxing 27 of them with a complete limit of overs up to 6lbs afterwards we went over to the other side to look for some blue cat and we found those as well on both stops. We also racked up 73 perch while we were waiting on the blues to bite. We ended up with three decent blue cat and one of them 15 pounds we didn't have much time to work with and I was happy to get what I could even a nice one coming up whenever we were leaving. Water temperature is 47° I'm not seeing any signs of Generation there is some current in the middle of the lake probably from their circulation pump. Hybrids were biting in 25 foot of water today rather than 30 and 33. This coming Saturday booked but I still have Tuesday Thursday and Friday of next week if anybody wants to get on em. Book anytime at fishonok.com or just give me a shout mornings and evenings are best! I'm ready to send out gifts certificates anybody want those they're still time to get it in the stocking!

Fish On! My customers today wanted to target some big catfish at sooner lake so we went out there and caught some perch for fresh bait and got to work looking for them we missed a few in 44 foot of water and then we turned up a couple as well one of them being 23 pounds. The action wasn't too hot so I went up the lake looking for some other spots and we hit them the second area fishing 65 foot of water with cut perch. Our intention was to release most of the fish but we ended up boxing 10 smaller catfish some of them got injured. We also got about 30 perch and wasn't really trying. But they were around and we got two real big saugeye. We also landed a beautiful 33 pound blue in excellent condition which we got Photos and got it back on down in the water I'm not sure how many overs we released but it was quite a few. Water temp 47° and there was some current flowing where we did best. Thanks Mike for booking a trip with me and giving it a shot!
